A Texas Company

Western Production Company is a Texas Corporation chartered in 1979. The company is an active North Texas operator of primarily natural gas producing properties.

Areas of operation include the Fort Worth Basin and Bend Arch plays in Pennsylvanian and Mississippian age reservoirs. We are currently in the market for packages of operated interests in the forty to sixty million dollar value range.

The area of primary focus remains onshore Texas, especially North Texas; however, producing interests in other areas of the Mid-Continent plus Permian, East Texas and South Texas will be considered.

While we are seeking to increase the proportion of crude oil in our production mix, the emphasis remains on natural gas. We are particularly interested in expanding our presence in non-conventional plays similar to the Barnett Shale play in Denton, Johnson, Tarrant, Parker and Wise counties.
